Here's what gets me:
The people we are afraid of have long since had most of their technological equipment destroyed or lost, its not like there is a way to get a hard-to-trace internet connection in the middle of nowhere in a mountain range. Not to mention, they could, say, have a face to face conversation in most cases since they have had to move in groups for nearly a decade.
Now supposing they do have the equipment and time to do this, pretty much every one of these games requires a registration with a valid credit card.I think it would get noticed when a slew of 50 newbies sits around and talks in euphamisms about attacks that never happen in game (not to mention, one would hope that the evil ones would be smart enough to use lingo from the proper game... my guess is the guy who put the demo together worked with Bush to use the Google to search several internets for their intel), Blizzard might notice.
Not to mention, the terrorists would give up eventually when every time they held a meeting, 13 year olds come thorugh and kill their newbish characters, or just hound them to the point that they give up and go back to email because its easier and not any easier to track.
