John Lithgow is another actor who plays good [Harry & the Hendersons, The World Acording to Garp] and bad [ Cliffhanger, Raising Cain] characters and he is excellent in both.
And I don't pay much attention to their personal life.
My brother on the other hand is of the mindset.....if he doesn't like an actor he won't even watch the movie ...such as George C Scott, Nicholas Gage.
