My iPod has only failed twice. Once when I took it out of the computer without ejecting it first, and once (last thursday). I turned it on and the screen was blank. I think it must be something to do with the fact we went on a plane. Maybe to do with the pressure changed in landing. Both times I just reset it and it went back to normal with everything still on it.
