Now I've watched countless horror movies, some of which are pretty brutal, but I've never been as truly scared as when I heard about
this. If you don't feel like reading, I'll summarize. A man was attacked on a Greyhound bus by some wacko. stabbed, gutted and beheaded. That news in general is not so shocking really, but to find out it happened in Canada was that scariest thing that I can honestly remember.
I take Greyhounds whenever I travel anywhere distant, and I often take them alone. I just feel they are safer as a commercial bus line. This kind of shit just doesn't happen in Canada. So here I am, really freaked out and on the internet looking for a news report to clarify what I heard, and give a motive to make this all a little less fucked. What do I find?
This article.
Now I'm scared and pissed about that article (I'm sorry, I know not all American's are douche bags, but you guys are used to gun toting crazies on every corner. We're used to the rare shooting in a big city.)
On top of all that, my bus trip to see some friends in Toronto is cancelled because my parent's don't trust Greyhound anymore.
Grrrr.
