I met and talked to Will Ferrell in Chicago for about 10 minutes- it was at a premiere and I (caught?) him in a very unusually uncrowded corner, but he was very friendly- said he enjoyed seeing young interest there- and ended up putting his arm around me and leading me to none other than Dustin Hoffman (my very favorite actor)! That was, like, the coolest thing that ever happened to me.
I met Patricia Neal and Farley Granger at the Music Box in Chicago as well.
