The Relic.
I loved the book and had great memories of the movie. However, ten years have not been kind to the movie. On my second viewing, I got so bored I went to the refrigerator. (NOTE- when I write that I went to the refrigerator in my pseudo reviews, it's bad.) I'm going through all of PRESTON and CHILD'S books and I thought it would be cool to watch their one movie adaption. Wrong. They changed so many things from the book that I became resentful and bored. It was ALIEN meets JURASSIC PARK. This is an example of why I often really don't like to watch a movie more than once. I like to keep the original impression in my mind. Often , repeat viewings ruin my pleasant memories. Anyone else have an opinion on this movie or book?
