I really need to check it out. Miike is one of my absolute favorite directors.

Last night I watched Saam Gaang, Three Extremes II and I thought it was pretty good...

"Memories," Ji-woon Kim - It's interesting to see what came before Tale of Two Sisters, though I thought that "Memories" was the weaker of the three and was just a derivation of the ghost story. The direction was solid and the atmosphere was successful. It was definitely a good way to begin the film. B

"Wheel," Nonzee Nimibutr - I haven't watched a lot of Thai cinema, but I thought that this film had a traditional feel to it and it kept me interested and captivated the entire time. B/B+

"Gong Home," Peter Chan - Definitely my favorite of the three short films, I thought that atmospherically it was brilliant and the concept was fantastic. The ending was great and I honestly did not foresee the twist, which is pretty impressive to me. There was an element to the story that was a bit of a non-sequitor and I thought was unnecessary, but I forgave it. B+/A-
