Inspired by the recent acquisition of a new car by our very own MD (who is probably busy playing GTA in real life with it in her hometown right now)...

So yeah...what do you drive? And how good of a troubleshooting mechanic are you?

I have my own 4x4. I can do the changing of tyres during a puncture and the basic oiling, greasing, battery-charging and stuff. But ask me to fine-tune an engine or repair a zonked-out car, and I am completely clueless. :o

Long trips? Yeah, sometimes. If I am confident enough that the car wont break down, or if there are good garages nearby on the route I will be taking. But umm yeah...I m what they ll call a very BASIC driver.
