this is the old film that launched Ma and Pa Kettle
fun movie - i suspect this was where Green Acres drew their inspiration from.
(city folk trying their hand at being country folk)
my favorite scene : the community dance where the wife was forced to dance with every inbred hillbilly at the shindig - a dance scene straight out of the addams family.
Pa Kettle is one of my favorite cinematic figures.
