Ans: No, I think I said this to a couple of people the title Oscars is very misleading, it's just a name.
All the categories except for Best/Worst Film of the Year (2007) relate to the Best/worst Ever, ie Best/worst ever Horror Film, Best/worst ever director of a Horror Film, Best /worst Ever producer etc.
