The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, hands down. Best movie theme ever. Without a doubt.

Actually, any Sergio Leone/ Ennio Morricone collaboration is chilling...A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, Once Upon a Time in the West, etc.

Vertigo has an absolutely spellbinding score, as does Psycho.

The Omen (1976)! Probably my second favorite score...the most terrifying piece of film music ever composed. Academy Award winning chiller.

Any piece composed by Goblin is golden. Suspiria would be in my top five, and Profondo Rosso (Deep Red) is superb as well. And, of course, their epic score for Dawn of the Dead (1978) is breathtaking.

King Kong (1933) had a phenominal score, one that matched every scene perfectly.

As for modern pieces, I'm actually listening to the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack and really digging it. It's simple ear candy, epic and powerful.

The Matrix series had a very cool techno-power rock score which seemed to advance the already thrilling story to an entirely new level. The Lord of the Rings trilogy was great, too.

And yeah...Taxi Driver. And The Sting.

Okay. Shutting up.
