Seriously, yes, here is one of the wonderful people I have met online. A good friend, a good person. And she wouldn't be in my life if not for this blasted machine. You just have to know how to watch out for yourself, take care of yourself, and know the danger. I think many people, kids and adults, don't really think, they are far too trusting. They know what is in their heart, and seem to automatically believe that is how most people are. And that just isn't true. As long as you are aware, cautious, (yes, please watch for those red flags) you should be okay. :)

Awww, you're a doll :) Exactly, I'm just as close to you as I am to people I've known my whole life...I would've missed out on alot had I never joined this forum. Yeah, and I also think alot of people go on the Internet b/c of loneliness...and when you're lonely, and somebody starts paying attention to you, telling you what you wanna hear...it's very easy to get caught up in, and dismiss any doubts you may have. I'm glad this thread was started...glad everything was brought into the open. I think it's good to have these discussions, and let people know they aren't the only ones something like this has happened to...brings awareness to the matter.
