I don't think it was the "racist" comment that got that guy fired, it was that and the fact that he called a women's basketball team "hoes".
If he had said "they suck at basketball" or whatever it would have been fine, but when you make derogatory remarks about something that a person has no control over (i.e. age, sex, race, religion, etc.) there will be consequences.
And that whole "it's okay if a black person calls another black person a nigga/nigger but if a white person does it it's racist" is so stupid. It's never okay to call a person a nigger and it doesn't matter what color skin anybody has. People who think it's okay to use that word are completely ignorant morons. Pick up a history book for christsake!
