Because it's not at any time long drawn, like the case is with all 3 Ringu movies. In my opinion, the only thing they've got going for them are the endings, especially in the 1st and the 3rd one. Pretty damn scary. But between the intro and the ending i found them all to be encredibly slow paced to the point of boring.
