Watch any of the old spaghetti westerns. Sergio Leone was so inloive with the ricochetting bullet sopund effect, he has bullets bouncing off of sand, water, trees....
I've always loved it when they do a cut away for an action scene (this happend on the buffy series all the time) where they show the nice pretty, soft actress up close, then for the action, they pull back, you NEVER see her face, and somehow she now has a muscular, athletic body. Makes you appreciate movie liek the Matrix where the actual actor had to perform stunts.
