The disagreement wasn't entirely the point I was trying to make.
If I disagree with something, I'll probably say so (ONCE), and keep right on thinking what I'm gonna think.
The pointlessness of an ongoing (while not going anywhere) disagreement WAS my point.
In most of the threads I'm referring to, it's just been people recycling the same points over and over again, just putting them slightly differently.
The posters, no matter how good a point they make on either side of these arguments, are simply not going to acheive anything other than the continuity of their pointless struggle.
Yes they're decent topics.
Yes, I had my say.
No, I will not indulge in bullshit arguments that do nothing other than "continue".
