Halloween Party Help

First of all, I want to say "Hello" to all my old friends here, with whom I haven't spoken in over a year. The reason why I have returned is that my wife and I are throwing a Halloween party this year, and I figured there was no better place to turn than to my old group of pals at horror.com for some macabre ideas.

I will go ahead and post the rules, etc. of the game we will play at the party just in case anyone would like to use this idea themselves.

1. I am expecting about 20 guests (besides my wife and I). When all of the guests have arrived, they will each be marked with a distinguishing ribbon (blue on the left wrist, for example). Then, they will be given a card explaining the object of the game.

2. The card will basically tell each guest that they have found themselves in a "kill or be killed" type of situation. They must murder as many of the other guests as they can, and survive the night in order to win the prize. Each guest will be given (on the card) a riddle that, when solved, points them in the direction of the first weapon they will use in the murder.

3. Once things get rolling, guests should be running about going after their weapon so they can do in their first victim. The card they get at the beginning also tells them who their victim is (kill the person with the blue ribbon on their left wrist, for example). This method of identifying victims eliminates the problem of some guests not knowing everyone's name (and also fixes any problems that may arise if certain guests are unable to show).

4. Once a guest kills another guest, they have to then fulfill their victim's intended murder. So, the victim is out of the game, but the successful killer keeps on killing (until he or she is killed, too!)

5. If a guest kills the guest that was supposed to kill HIM (for example -- Charles is supposed to kill Sandy, but Sandy kills Charles first), then Sandy takes Charles' "mission" to kill HER to the host. The host will then switch that mission out with another surviving guest in secret, so that Sandy does not know who her new killer is.

6. When there are only two survivors left, the game will stop. A drawing will be held amongst the victims who have died. The drawing consists of 18 blank sheets of paper, and two with each of the surviving killers on it. At this point, the two victims return from the dead to get revenge on their killer. The two surviving killers CANNOT kill each other. Instead, they have to escape the now-risen victim who is out to get them. This avoids the two surviving killers just rushing at each other and causing confusion, and it also gives a victim a chance to win a small prize.

7. Once one of the two surviving killers is dead, the other one wins! (we have yet to decide on the prize)

Those are the rules, in a nutshell. What I need help with is weapons and hiding spots for those weapons. Here is the list of what we came up with -- but someone on this site might think of something better. Keep in mind that we do not have the finances to purchase corpses, body-bags, etc. Nor do we have a basement or attic to send guests to.

Weapon List and Hiding Spots:

1. Butcher knife -- hidden in a bowl of "guts" in the kitchen oven
2. Hook -- hidden in the trunk of my car (key to trunk in rubber rat)
3. Machete -- buried in a "grave" in the backyard
4. "Choker" -- enchanted necklace hidden in a pumpkin
5. Spiders -- chilled in a jello-brain
6. Acidic spray -- inside a box filled with "bloody worms"
7. Poisonous cup -- inside a cabinet, behind many webs and spiders
8. Syringe -- in a doctor's bag (part of my costume) along with body parts
9. Wooden stake -- stuck inside a decorative zombie outside
10. Voodoo wand -- in the bed, under the sheets, with a homemade "corpse"
11. Cleaver -- down by a tree by the road (a long way from house -- guest will have to use flashlight. Screaming decoration attached to tree with motion-sense)
12. "Spell scroll" -- Inside a large book of Poe stories on the bookshelf.
13. "Voodoo powder" -- behind a spooky picture of the "Blue Boy" with a skull face.
14. Black, poisonous rose -- growing in flower bed outside
15. Noose -- on a body hanging in the backyard
16. "Voodoo doll" inside a decoration (a skeleton spider)
17. Scorpion -- inside a box filled with bugs
18. Magic mirror -- Don't know where to put this. Victim looks into mirror and their "soul" is stolen
19. Snake -- Don't know where to hide this, either.
20. Need another idea.

Please help me out! I know someone here will have the goods to come up with something awesome.

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate the help!

Sincerely,

Stingy
