If you meet a girl you just want to have sex with, she will never believe you have had a vasectomy (certificate or not) so you will still have to use protection (plus, this kind of mutilation does not prevent against sexual diseases).
If you meet a girl you might want to spend the rest of your life with, there is a very high chance she will want to have children at some point.
There is also a very high chance you will change your mind - and many many people do - about not wanting children when you get older, or that a lady previously nonplussed about kids gets broody and changes her mind when she gets older.
So a reversal it is then.
