The Toolbox Murders (Remake)

I know I'll be in the minority here, but I actually liked this better than the original. I thought Tobe Hooper did a lot better job setting up the characters & plot than Donnelly did in the original. There was also better gore in this one too & overall I liked the story of this villain better as well.

I actually was pretty much thuroughly entertained by this one, except that it was a bit slow for about the first half hour. All in all though, I really liked it. It's a remake so it'll get marked down a bit for lack of original ideas, but other than that I don't think this film should be stuck with the reputation of being 'another crappy remake' because like I said, I found it more entertaining than the original.
