It came out in theaters sometime in the last couple of years, and I really thought it came out last year. The only thing I remember from the preview is a man who sees his father walking around, but his father is supposed to be dead. I think the whole advertised plot was something about people seeing dead loved ones. There may have been a clip of conversation where the character says, "I saw my dad today," and his friend says, "I thought your dad was dead," to which the character replies, "He is." Anybody have a clue? I've been everywhere, looking at lists and lists of movies from the last few years.

That line has a familiar ring to it.....maybe "Bringing Out the Dead"(1999).
