Watched this last night with the family. It's a Guy Ritchie film, so you know what to expect. All his movies are so similiar, very similiar... but this one changed things up just slightly. It added a more 'psychological' feeling and mood to the story, but in the end it just confused the audience. The performances were all pretty standard, nothing incredibly special except for maybe Jason Statham. But then again, I might be baised because I have a huge fan-love for him. Mmm, Jason Statham. I was very pleased with his randomly inserted shower scene, too. You don't see much, but it's very artistic. Sad, wet, laying on the floor of the shower, starring off into nothing. A good scene. There were quite a few good scenes, actually. Such as Jason & The Elevator, and the Sharpshooter & The Girl. Oooh, very good editing in the Sharpshooter &The Girl scene. VERY good. Camera's panned all around, going through walls and different rooms. Very unique, fresh, and visually-stunning. Speaking of that, the scene where Jason smashed through a car is beyond a visual-orgasm. He smashes in, the camera freezes, and rewinds in slow motion. In about three different angles, we see the shards of class fly by his bleeding skull, and replace themselves into the windshield. Ammmazing! Usually I can guess how certain directors shot a scene, but with Guy Ritchie, it's a mystery. Ok, so as you can see I loved the film cinematography & editing-wise. The story itself was a little confusing as previous mentioned, but had a good little spin on things. Something that pissed me off greatly is how the movies ends several times. A big twist/reveal/confrontation which makes you think "Hot damn this is the end! Some crazy shit is going to go down!" Well, shit does go down, crazy shit at that, but... the movie continues. RIGHT INTO ANOTHER SCENE LIKE THIS. It definately keeps you interested and on the edge of your seat, but... it gets annoying. Greatly. And all these scenes are 21085x less confusing then the actual end. It's and ending that's so confusing and unanswered that even watching it another two times won't give you the slightest idea of what happened. Is it a dream? Are the characters one person? Eeeh. Three Stars due to the opening seeming like every other Guy Ritchie film (expcially Lock, Stock), and the end being more confusing then it should be. Also the fact that at one point I would have rather taken a nap then watch any more of it.

I wanted to watch The Toybox because it has a good atmosphere to it, or so it seemed like when I skimmed through it. Return of the Living Dead is a classic, but perhaps a bit too funny for my likes tonight. IKWYDLS is something I have seen before, but when I was younger... I don't really remember much of it. Mr. Hell seems terrible, but something I should watch just for the hell of it, and Audition is very slow but a "classic" as well. I know about the ending-a-big-shock, have an idea what it might be (HARD CANDY) but not too sure either.
