I just read all the postings..
speaking from a parents perspective..
it sux seeing your children grow up..
it sux when your children don't need you anymore..
it sux when your child would rather hang with mates rather than stay with mum n dad..
and as a parent who loves thier children
deeply..its going to hurt when your child moves out.
The problem is ..when children grow up
they tend to keep thier feelings hidden from thier parents and go into these
moods ..that doesn't allow for parent company.
Your thinking 'my parents don't understand me' or they are being a right pain in the ass for questioning my every move..or worst of all...'they keep annoying me'
Honestly..its made worse if your n only child..the protection mode kicks in.
My freind..don't come down too hard on
your parents..at least they care enough to ask.
It has nothing to do with powerplay or parents thinking they know more than you...bottom line is..they love you..
your thier son and no matter who your dating...you could be going out with
the queen of sheba...no girl will ever be good enough for thier son.
Bottom line..no parent wants to see thier child grow up..EVER.
