The Interpreter

Im not usually into these "political intrigue" type movies, but this was better than most. The actors were fine, Kidman was better than usual, and Penn was good as always. There were a few places where the plot didnt make alot of sence, especially near the end. I wont ruin it for you, but suffice to say the UN must have pretty crappy security. I didnt really like Kidman's character very much. She was well acted, but not very consistant. Once again, I wont spoil the movie by explaining why. Aside from those minor grievances however, it was an enjoyable film that kept my attention throughout. Worth seeing once, but I wouldnt buy it.

6.5/10
