I took my two dogs out to the waterfront this morning. Although I come from Liverpool I now live on the other side of the River Mersey on the Wirral peninsula (those unfamiliar should check an atlas!)
The promenade and beach we walk down is directly across from Liverpool city centre with its beautiful 'Three Graces' buildings.

Sometimes, on clear days, you can see a massive wind farm miles off the coast, ships and boats constantly travelling up and down the river. Its a nice walk, especially for the dogs!
