Why are these two words always paired...I mean really, "romance"...what is it nowadays? Nothing...it's all material, and has less to do with love and more to do with getting a fuck, if you ask me...love isn't about adorning someone with gifts, taking them places, giving them things...those there are the desperate measures in themselves...I guess coming from the perspective of actually being in a relationship, I can see it for what it is.
True romance? Time, talking about whateverthefuck, ups and downs (anyone who takes that joke and runs with it, is severely retarded), laughing, seeing past superficial fights, similar interests, not feeling right when theyre not around, no need for insecure constant public displays of affection (yes, insecure), when you hate the same things, pizza...I dunno...lots of stuff, but it's all just a given, it's not "romantic" as such.
Romance is a dead word, one for the mislead.
