Seriously, I loved Will Graham from Red Dragon - i love the tragic quality and hte fact that he doesn't show up in any of hte later books. . . I was sort of pissed that he doesn't show up at all in Hannibal (which makes no freaking sense) - but in the end given that Harris is such a bloated writer these days - i'm glad Graham has remained unscatehd
