I didn't even watch the Bowl game. I'm just saying his stock would have been higher had he entered the draft year as opposed to this year. I think he woulda got paid better too.
Brooks a top QB? He hasn't even had a decent year since 2003 and even then, I'd put him around the bottom of the Top 10 QBs.
Brooks hasn't ever really looked impressive to me, but after you said he was one of the QBs, I looked up his numbers from the last couple years.... Nope, still not impressive.
2005 - 13 games played, 13 TDs, 17 INTs, 222 yards/game, QB Rating of 70.0
Nothing spectacular there...
2004 - 16 games played, 21 TDs, 16 INTs, 238 yards/game, QB Rating of 79.5
Better than '05, but still pretty run of the mill numbers here...
Leinart or Young would be a step up for sure.
