Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
Actually, anything by Terry Pratchett.
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. I'm not really a Koontz fan, but I loved that book. It so made me cry. Currently, I'm reading the sequel. It's pretty good so far.
