Closer to trip-hop, but still with some house elements, there's DJ Krush and DJ Shadow. For pure trip-hop, I'd recommend Portishead. Miserable atmosphere, icy cold synths and beats, and beautiful, soulful vocals. This genre isn't really my style, so I don't know a lot to recommend, but you could do a lot worse than what I listed above.
