But a very good point and fair question none-the-less.
Money and target audiences (male/13-18) are the main reasons, and also lack of resistance from those who complain but pay their admission prices anyway to fund more and more of these things.
We have the power to stop endless franchises and vapid remakes right here and now - but there are too many of those who won't play ball and boycott 'cos they're too easily pleased...
