Marroe, sounds like you went to a bar where they actually judge the costumes on the costumes thenselves, rather than on the "people" in them. And I'll explain what I mean. 19 times out of 20, it's the people that work for the bar that usually win so that the money goes back to the bar.... how weak is that? :rolleyes: If you ever saw "Sleepaway Camp 2" and that mask that black kid sittin on the picnic bench was working on or the cover of the shitty movie "Bloody Murder" is what I had to work with. I had to use bondo, a jigsaw to cut it down to size, drill the holes, sanding, and paint to make it look more like a Jason mask. I met Kane Hodder who signed it so I retired it cause if I drop it, it'll break which I wore it one more time for the contest. So the bar said they'll vote the best outfit for the biggest and loudest cheers. Some girl in a lame "bubble bath" costume was nothing but a pink leotard and white balloons and another in a long black dress and a hat.... that was it, without a broom no less. The crowd lightly cheered em, but roared, bellowed, and hollered for mine, yet "witch and "bubble bath" won? WTF?
Bwind, that's so typical.... if the girls are hittin on the DJ, it's almost a shoe-in for being a winner. :rolleyes: And the stupid crap with mine in which "Verizon" won was most likely "office politics", doof probably made the office people laugh by walkin around and simply acting like the Verizon Guy. Big fuckin deal.
