16 Year-Old Suffers Serious Burns After Friends Light Him On Fire

Milwaukie, Oregon - A 16 year-old boy was burned by his friends.
Police arrived at the Milwaukie house on Tuesday too late to help the boy.

There, they found a group of teens who they say had been drinking and smoking marijuana.

They had also been playing with a can of gas.

At one point, according to police, a 15 year-old boy suggested lighting one of the others on fire.

The 16 year-old boy protested as the 15-year-old poured gasoline on his pants and then lit him on fire.

The victim suffered second- and third-degree burns and was transported by ambulance to a burn center.

The 15 year-old who poured the gasoline has been charged with assault.
