Okay...I'll give you that for the Shining remake, but he DID make sure that everything was the way he wanted it, and that it stayed close to his story since Kubrick pissed him off so bad with his omissions and changes in the original...
BUT...He DID direct Sometimes They Come Back Again...It's listed in his filmography along with Maximum Overdrive, for directing...
