He is much better than Simon. He is very similar, but doesnt seem unnecesarrily cruel. But when he is cruel, he is brutal. Someof the people in the show were either first chef or executive chef at their restauraunt and were over confident. He took them down way more than a peg.

"Unbelieveable. That is fucking awful. Step back"
but, he gives compliment where they are due. one woman made turkey tacos. he said they looked terrible, but tasted great.
