well, i checked it ..
probably the wrong guy because i dont like slasher flicks and i am losing my taste for low budget films.
(there are plenty of people here who like them though)
When i see a trailer like this i can see in my minds eye a video cover that will do everything in its power to get people to rent it - meaning something that isnt in the film on the front, and a couple of scenes on the back - one showing the hint of teenage female skin - banking on the fact that certain people will rent it just to see a pair of teenage tits.
The acting will be amateurish, the music will be thin and terrible, and the lighting will be done on the cheap, and the editing will be too loose. Like any slasher film since Halloween, it lacks origionality most of all.
Thats speaking as a guy who has rented far too many of them.
Speaking as someone who enjoys the craft of filmmaking - I'm sure it was fun to be a part of and took a lot of hard work and imagination (i hope) to make.
I can appreciate that you are not warner brothers ...but i cant bear to watch these films anymore - that have the look and feel of porno films, without the benefit of sex.
Sorry, but i'm being honest and i think its fair to give that kind of feedback if you ask for it.
I have friends who make films and i've been forced to give feedback on those too ... so i ask them first .. do you want it judged as a student film or a professional production .. ?
These things always look like decent student films, but horrible professional films.
