This evening i saw "The grudge" and i thought it was very good actually. It was clearly a blend of the first 3 Ju-on movies, but it was done with lots of skill from director Shimizu, and i enjoyed it very much, though i knew what was going to happen most of the time.
I donīt know why most of you people hated it? My guess is that you either was disappointet that all the climax in the movie stops before you see blood and gore, or because you think it misses depth and a better story. I canīt find other reasons than those two?
Now, listen up people!!
Itīs about ghosts and a haunted house. Thatīs it. There is nothing more to it. Itīs all about creeping out the audience every 5th minute, and i think Shimizu succedes yet again. At least it worked on the audience in the cinema i was in.
If you guys have another opinion about "The grudge" please let me hear it. :)
