Hmmm guinea pigs - got two for free from a petshop desperately trying to get rid of them. I used to think they had about the same personality as rabbits (I have no former experience with either), but I was wrong. See, the other day, I went into the petshop again, and rabbits actually approach you an are quite friendly, especially, for some reason, the floppy eared ones - they look at you inquisitively, and appear to actually have a brain.
The guinea pigs however, they're completely fucking dumb...since I got the two of them, they've shown me no evidence that evolution shouldn't have wiped them off the face of the planet already.
Dumb little shits, I've owned them for about 2 months ago, and feed them very well, I try sitting with them - they run away, I try picking them up - they run away, and when I actually grab one, I'll be lucky if it doesn't kick and scratch and make this dumbass squeeling noise that makes you wanna snap their fucking neck.
And I REALLY like animals.
So today right, I run them a bath, and get this...the water was shallow enough so down one end of the bath they could swim, but the other end they could stand in. So they're sitting in that end, no moving, huddled up like retards...so I push them down the other end, and they swim back, again and again.
I use a flea/gnat protectant soap on all my animals.
So - I went to pick up one of them, and as per usual it freaks out...the only thing is, the stupid motherfuker must've gasped or something and inhaled water...GASP, GASP, GASP - dead.
Nothing I could've done really, I tried upturning it and pumping it's chest lightly to get rid of any water, but nope...didn't work.
Had it not freaked out unneccesarily like a stupid little over-paranoid BITCH, it would've been nice, clean, and ALIVE.
Death by stupidity - It actually happens.

As much as I think I should, I just CANNOT bring myself to care - I look upon this animal as nothing but a burden, it never gave ANYTHING back in the form of SOME kind of friendship, as a pet should.

NEVER BUY GUINEA PIGS...unless you're gonna eat 'em or something.
