I notice, by the way, that you, movieman64, built a halloween haunt. GOOD FOR YOU, that's one of the three or four best things a person can do with his or her time, I try to do it whenever I can. Way back in the early 80's (when I was in high school), I worked on a March of Dimes haunted house that was gigantic--44 rooms large, and it took almost an hour to get through the thing. Because it was community-built, it had a home-made charm that purely "commercial" haunts do not have. Hand-crafted by real horror geeks!

I do want to thank you for the compliment. It is a labor of love for me. I have already started the planning on next year’s haunt. We are going to call it, “Lost Ridge Asylum”. The property we locate on has a wooded ridge on one side so it seemed fitting. There will be an Insane Asylum theme (duh). We are talking about locating it further back in a wooded area, and using a short hayride with props and scenes to transport the patrons. I have been working on the back-story and hope to have it done by the end of January, then the prop building can begin.

Our haunt only took about 30 min to go through, but we also had a graveyard with props and effects outside. We also had a concession area that went over good; we did great, made some great donations and had loads of fun.

Nosferatu,
Does not this word sound like the call of the death bird at Midnight? You dare not say it since the pictures will fade into dark shadows, ghostly dreams will rise from your heart and feed on your own blood
