i think people just here to talk horror and have a laugh are getting frustrated.
Anyone old enough here to work for a living gets all the bullshit they need in real life .. this should be an escape from all that.
When people complain when the board is dead - that doesnt mean they're willing to settle for negativity to fill the gap ..
If I complained that no one was talking to me at work, does that mean i'd be happy to have someone talk shit at me all day ?
the odd little skirmish is tolerable .. but when the whole thing breaks down into tribal little camps its so surreal and pointless that it becomes tedious to go through the threads hoping there's a tiny grain of sense in there somewhere ..
Most of it is far from clever enough to be amusing even on that level ..
We all want to have fun .. some of us like to combine that with actuall discussion about the genre.
The ones that are leaving - or contemplating leaving arent willing to compromise their time and trouble for the odd scrap of sensibility that may pop up here or there ..
