I used to get them a lot. I wrote the "friends" who would forward them and asked them to remove me from thier email list. If I do find a joke or something funny or interesting and it has a "forward this to 20 people or you're gentiles will fall off" type of line at the end, I just cut and paste everything except the BS and send it, sort of like you did here.
Nothings fallen off me yet.
