Sure - but in the case in question the
loving-of-lesbians statement is probably supposed to be ironic... of course in doing so, it becomes exploitative of lesbians - as if the wearer is deliberately poking fun, and looking cool in the process.
What about when Madonna wore
Britney and
Kylie T-Shirts in public? Was she simply being friendly, or suggesting to her fans she could ironically promote inferior performers and cash in on the publicity it generates?
Guess if we analyse this damn T-Shirt enough we can discover why the world is going to hell in a handbasket, and possibly even the secrets of the universe...
Personally, I'd be more interested in what's underneath it - woof woof!
