So is your girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband into horror? They don't have to be fanatics like you are but are they willing to go with you to see "the Grudge?" Are they cool with you staying up all night to watch "monstervision?" Do they have their own particular horror movie favorites?

I don't like women who like shopping. And I can't stand comic books. What kind of advice is this? Obviously very selective. You chewed out Bloodrayne (in a way) when she subtly pointed out that your "generalizations" are hardly general at all.
As for my wife, she likes horror. She'll go with me to see a new horror film, as long as its good. For example: I had to practically drag her by the hair to go and see
Freddy vs. Jason ... and it turns out I should have listened to her on that one.
But, she's more affected by them than I am. She won't watch them right before bed, because she has no control over freaking herself out. But we have the same taste in what we consider to be good horror, so I don't have to worry about her coming home with a copy of FvJ to pollute my collection (which has many a weed in it already).
