You did the right thing. I actually signed up as a member just to say this. Yeah, I hear you about having a terrible knot in your stomach if you did hear about killings in Lancaster County, PA the next day. Plus the parents would have said, "Why didn't anyone say anything??!" My gratitude goes out not only to you, but to everyone who tried to talk him out of it. It may sound insane, but my sympathy goes out to FreddyFan. I was teased a lot in school myself. With that in mind, I also posted a message to FreddyFan's thread.

P.S. Actually, I don't think you could have damaged the site's integrity. If anything, you inadvertantly gave it more publicity, probably in the positive!
