As for Vietnam ... Bush did serve in the Air Force, but thanks to the strings pulled by his father, he was never sent overseas. Kerry's father could have done the same for him, but he didn't. Kerry served in Vietnam; and according to the people who actually served with him, he did his job there. Then he came back and protested. If the vets have a problem with protesting, what the fuck are they fighting for? Certainly not freedom.
