Agreed. Bush wants to be President simply because he wants to be President. He has no interest in doing what is right for the American people, be it by way of education, unemployment, or tax breaks (for anyone who is not upper class). It's a simple power-trip. He's in power, and he wants to stay there ... for no other reason than it brings him power.
As for Vietnam ... Bush
did serve in the Air Force, but thanks to the strings pulled by his father, he was never sent overseas. Kerry's father could have done the same for him, but he didn't. Kerry served in Vietnam; and according to the people who actually served with him, he did his job there. Then he came back and protested. If the vets have a problem with protesting, what the fuck are they fighting for? Certainly not freedom.
