That is not the "Bear Girl".
The "Bear Girl" died several months back in one of the saddest stories I ever heard.
It seems that she met the right bear and decided to settle down. They bought a nice split-level cave with a white picket fence and it was in a very nice neighborhood.
After some time, and a great deal of planning and discussion, they decided to start a family.
She, after several months with no luck, began taking fertility pills and became pregnant soon after.
Then, in what's bound to be an NBC Movie Of The Week, the young wife died during cub birth. She never got to lick the afterbirth from her newborn cub's coat.
I still get choked up when I hear about it.
The girl in the pick would have nothing to do with a bear. She's been dating the same platypus for almost 2 years now and they seem very happy. I wish them the best.
