There will 100% for sure be a sequel. It made money and they left it intentionally open-ended. There's no way they wouldn't make a sequel... Now whether or not the sequel will be any good is open for debate...

but what about the fear freddy has, I mean, jason already kicked his ass once, so freddy has to be afraid of him on some level. does freddy's fear give himself power?
