Growing up in Department Oof Defense schools, i had to take CTBS standardised tests my whole childhood. They blew a week on those things every year. I always scored extremely high, especially in English and Science, but they never did anything, as far as i can tell.
I caught a lot of shit from my parents because my scores didnt really reflect my grades. I was smarter than my grades would indicate. Yes, i was very apathetic towards school. i learned more on my own, anyway.
I'm not sure what my point was, but all i ever saw as a result of these tests was arrogant smart kids and slower kids with even less self esteem.
