I could have easily "disappeared", and no one would know what had happened (of course, my footprints in the snow would have been pretty telling.)

He actually moved away to Europe not long after that, so no, i imagine nothing ever did happen to him....its on HIS conscience tho, and i hope it weighs heavily...
