who cares, just have fun!
resident evil 4 had crazy enemies like the mosquito things, or look at zero with the leeches or 7 with the ghosts, code veronica final boss was pretty out there, they all have something that is a bit unrealistic, this one isn't really as strange as it seems when you put that stuff into perspective...
